亞已指示我要讓我們的住棚一直支著並一直慶祝直到獻殿節/光明節的節期，光明節期間馬加比原本是慶祝一個推遲的住棚節。獻殿節/光明節也是亞呼贖阿被感孕的時候！接著在數個月後，祂在住棚節誕生。

5現在，就在外邦人玷污聖殿的同一天，也就是同一個基斯流月的第二十五日，聖殿又被潔淨了。6他們就歡歡喜喜地守這八日，好像在住棚節一樣，紀念他們不久前已守過住棚節，那時他們在山上和洞穴裡如野獸般的漂流。7因此，他們露出樹枝，美麗的枝子，也露出棕樹枝，唱詩讚美那曾使他們大大成功地潔淨他自己地方的那一位。8他們又頒佈了一個共同的法令和法規，規定整個猶太民族每年都應當把那幾天守為節日。
